Tools
These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Background
The SodaStream Source was created in 2012 behind a collaborative effort with designer Yves Béhar. The SodaStream Source is one in a line of six home soda makers created by the SodaStream company, best distinguished by its name and unique, energy-efficient design for plastic waste reduction.
Identification
The SodaStream Source includes a snap-lock bottle, an LED fizz indicator, a BPA-free reusable carbonating bottle, and a 60 L CO₂ cylinder. Its design features a rectangular base plate that helps prevent the machine from tipping during carbonation. The SodaStream Source is available in black or white and includes the required battery. It measures 4.8 × 16.6 × 9.1 inches (W × H × D).
You will find a warning label on the back of the soda maker. To identify your device, look for the model number printed on a label inside the back cover of the SodaStream Source.
